We all have felt or even now, we feel sometimes lost, unsure, or confused. Life is full of uncertainties due to which, whenever we step forward, something pulls us back saying is this going to work? Is this going to happen in a correct way? Well, I’ve dealt with such situation and feelings many times in my life, and in such situations, I do somethings which help me a lot in feeling relax. I also feel more assured about my decision.
I will be sharing some of those steps and hopefully it will be helpful for you too. Many of you must have or had the habit of writing diary, right? That is honestly very helping in long term, only if you analyse your sentences and find the problems.
Well, whenever I feel like I am lost, and can’t find the solution, or even when I get anxiety attacks, I try to pen down my thoughts that is going on in my head. All kind of questions, confusions, insecurities should be penned down in your paper.
Now, with a peaceful mind and patience try to evaluate them your questions very minutely. Now, the most common mistake we all do while writing down our thoughts is, writing them in a negative way. We should write them in such a way, so that they look quite empowering.
What we crave for during this process is that, clarity which will help us in moving towards integrity and purpose.
I have noticed one thing, that during every kind of situation be it tough or a smooth one, we often question ourselves. So, basically questioning is a continuous process in one’s life. Especially when you dream a lot about your future, you ask yourself various questions. This process helps us to know about our necessities and ways about how to do a particular work.
But, generally we ask ourselves such question which undermines our confidence.
We ask these types of questions:
You know what is wrong with the above-mentioned questions? You place yourself like a victim or negative mindset, which further demotivates you. Hence you should ask yourself these questions in an empowering way to give you the sense of control and positivity.
Try this Exercise…
Now that you know the important things about why, when and how does insecurity and confusion attack us. We also told you what to do when you feel insecure, lost, unsure, confused. Now we will be discussing about how to do some exercises which will also help you in dealing with such feelings and situations.
Step 1: Unload
First, take a notebook or diary whichever you feel comfortable in. Now try to write down all your ongoing thoughts, tensions, queries and everything over there. Write everything about your business, work, relationships, and life. Let yourself flow your feelings over there, each and everything till you feel relaxed and you are left with no questions.
Step 2: Examine
You will already feel relaxed to some percent now, as you are left with no questions. Your brain is left with nothing. Now, try to go through your words and sentences very minutely. See, if any of them is undermining of not, if you find any such question or sentence, then quickly convert it into a positive one, as we told you earlier.
Examining your words and sentences are a very important part of your exercise. So, make sure you don’t do injustice to yourself. Okay?
Step 3: Answer
Once you are done with evaluating and examining process, its now time to answer your own queries, confusions, questions. But, before your answer, think and now don’t forget to write them down. Keep writing and see the end result, see what comes out.
This process completes here. After you answer your questions, your problems will get solved to 80%. Remaining 20% will be done after you complete them by applying them in your own life. Well, this process and exercises have helped me always, hope this will help you.
