Souvik Bhadra advises clients on transactions involving merger acquisition, private equity, foreign investment, joint ventures, infrastructure and financing, etc. He also represents clients in arbitration and litigations at various forums including the High Courts at Bombay and Calcutta, National Company Law Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunal, etc.
Souvik graduated from the W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, in 2008. After working as a pupil at the chamber of John McDonnell QC at Lincoln’s Inn, London, for a short period, Souvik started his career with Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. He also worked as a partner at PXV Law Partners before establisghing Ashlar Law.
Souvik has co-authored a bestseller book titled “Red-Handed – 20 criminal cases that shook India” (Rupa Publication) and authored several articles and speak regularly at various conferences and seminars on issues related to commercial laws.
